Dyeing flowers is fun and easy. With a little practice, you’ll soon be a pro!
To dye your flowers, start with a 1:1 ratio of dye and water in a small bowl. The dye will sink, so make sure to mix well! Hold your flower by the bottom, and dunk it face down into the dye. You may want to turn and/or flip the flower as well to make sure the dye gets into all the petals! Do not let the flowers soak, a quick dunk is enough. You can also fluff out the petals while dyeing to make the flower larger or reshape any imperfections.
Once covered, shake off any excess paint mixture, and place the flower on a tray for drying. Allow approximately 24-48 hours for the flowers to dry at room temperature.
